Wyborowa Vodka, 70cl

Clean polish vodka that holds its own. Bread and butter with dried apple and lemon zest on entry. crushed grains then take over with deep spicy overtones. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied and the finish is both flinty and pepper driven. This is really very good for the price and remains a favourite of the polish, who seem to drink cauldrons of it every weekend.

The finish is cracked black pepper on hot toast with a faint hazelnut taste. Impressive stuff for the Smirnoff crew.

Ghostbusters aside, this is a serious spirit! Super clean vanilla notes with a touch of lemon and a smooth pepper and lemon rind finish this is best straight from the fridge but comes up well at room temperature too.

Konik's Tail Vodka, 70cl

One of the best vodkas in Europe at the moment with a release of just 4,00 bottles per year. The complex and dense body; starts with soft sweet winter wheat followed by a nutty note and finally a complex dryness that flaunts the rye with a peppery note on the end. Tremendous stuff. Do not freeze this vodka. It's too damn good.

Sipsmith Vodka, 70cl

Mega yum! Sipsmith boys came up trumps with this one. super silky mouthfeel with notes of lemon barley water and crushed up breakfast cereal from your schooldays. This is followed by a creamy vanilla moment before more lemon and eventually a brief hard-boiled barley sugar with orange rind. Finish is silky and leaves you with a lovely lemon barley note and a desire for more of the same.

Fair Quinoa Vodka, 70cl

Super clean and tasty quinoa vodka. Clean bright lemon and almost a little fruit on the palate. Very smooth all the way through. The finish is a lemon and soft spice affair. Very very well made vodka and very very fairly priced vegan-friendly too. Big thumbs up.

Luxurious offering from Poland. Medium-bodied with faint vanilla any crushed grains. The finish is of a reasonable length with butter and nutty cream notes that fade into lemon zest.

Deepest Herefordshire fantastic Potatoe vodka. Creamy and almost buttery notes here with hot mash potatoes and ground black pepper finish. Yum! Probably best to keep this one in the freezer.

An Icelandic vodka which is cool, calm and totally collected. Worthy of a spot in your drinks cabinet for sure Reyka is elegantly packaged and exceptionally flavoured. Enjoy light notes of aniseed on the nose, paired with a creamy depth which entices you to sip. On tasting you’ll enjoy a fresh and clean flavour on the palate with just a little sweetness from the aniseed notes, teamed with a light and enjoyable peppery spice. The aniseed notes linger long after finishing and give a distinct edge to this refreshing spirit.

Cariel Vanilla Vodka, 70cl

The vodka originally used in Douglas Ankrah's infamous pornstar Martini and one of the best vanilla vodkas available on the market. Cream soda and lush vanilla pudding note spin around on your tongue wrapped in soft ripe lemon. The body is medium to full and the kick is clean and soft with a creme anglais note. This stuff really is outstanding and does real well when kept in the fridge. drinks wise, flavour combinations are endless. To start off try it with chilled freshly pressed apple juice with a few squashed up blackberries. Yuuuumm!

Super zingy Menton lemon notes move into the rich lemon cake and soft crushed wheat and citrus peel. Lemon barley water and soft baked bread mid-palate, followed by a silky smooth kick that moves lightly through into soft yet sophisticated vanilla and smashed lemon sherbert finish. Awesome stuff. The most superior of all lemon vodkas.

Baked rolls and marmalade open up into juicy Valencia orange notes. Orange opal fruits then follow more tangy yet silky orange notes. Super smooth kick with lashes of orange marmalade and smashed wheat with citrus zest on the finish. Dramatic vodka. Serious flavours on show here. Very well-made vodka.

Lemons from the fridge and buttery croissant notes on the entry. This is followed by lemon meringue and lemon barley water with hot toast. The kicks is chalky,( in a lemon barley way) but with a touch of aggression. The finish is full of bitter lemon notes.

Soft yet punchy orange and mandarin notes sing out first followed by singed lemon and orange zest. The finish here is sweet, sharp and bursting with orange citrus goodness. Yum when served from freezer.

These move through into deep yet balanced and complexed herbal notes followed by waves of hay and green apple. The finish is grassy, clean and almost refreshing with a soft lime and herb bite that fades into apples. Best served from the fridge and tastes fantastic with freshly pressed apple juice.

Tannic mango and apple notes at the kick-off. Lemon and overripe mango follow this with undercurrents of soft tropical fruits. There is sharpness midway that throws you a bit until the sweet lemon and mango finish with a sharp passion fruit flavour ties it all in at the end. Great with um bongo! Seriously! Try it. Mega toffee hit slaps you round the face at first followed by warm fudge and toffee apple notes. The kicks is faint but the boost of chewy toffee is full-on. Quality street type mouth finish. Serve from the fridge for best results. Begs for cold apple juice.

Soft freshly picked autumnal pears with smashed apple and baked baked bread overtones on first taste. This is followed by crushed pear drops and sweet freshly pressed pear juice. The kicks are almost unnoticeable and wrapped in soft lemon peel, apple juice and pear juice. The finish is long, smooth and full of juicy pear and apple notes that leave you wanting more. Ten out of ten for the grey goose team. Exceptional stuff.

Finlandia Grapefruit Vodka, 70cl

Sharp white grapefruit is prominent followed by a wash of sweetened pink grapefruit. Lemon and lime zest appear mid appear just before a sweet grapefruit kick that is smooth and long. Impressive follow up of pink grapefruit and morello cherry with a big citrus burst to finish. Cracking stuff. Serve from the freezer. Amazing value for money.

Lanique Rose Petal Vodka, 70cl

Thick rose and lemon notes on the opening followed closely by delicate Turkish delight and faint Arabian spice. The finish is thick and full with heaps of rose and strawberry on the finish with a sweet yet comfortably strong bite. Cracking for cocktails and begs for champagne. Serve from the fridge to get the very best from this one.

Lemon and strawberry slush puppies flavours on first taste followed by waves of Umbongo and African passion fruit flavours. The kick is tart and wrapped in more lemon slush puppies and passion fruit. The finish is short, sweet and to the point.

Point and a half to the Italians! stewed summer fruits with vanilla pods and manuka honey and burnt lemons. Fat plum and bitter raspberry finish with a slightly tannic feel. Crying out for gin and sweet vermouth!

Patron Anejo is treated with the same delicate nurturing process as a good wine. Uniquely aged tequilas are wonderfully blended together and each individual tequila is matured in its own small white oak barrel before combining. It has warm amber tones and a woody aroma with notes of raisins and vanilla.
