Produced to the same recipe created by Giulio Cocchi in 1891, Cocchi Americano is an aromatised wine blending Moscato base and botanicals such as gentian and wormwood. It has a fruity flavour profile of bitter oranges and elderflower on the nose, followed by tropical notes of mango, pineapple and papaya and is the perfect balance between bitter and sweet. Cocchi Americano is best enjoyed in a Classic Spritz: pour 50ml Cocchi Americano over ice and top with soda, garnish with an orange peel.

About the brand

Giulio Cocchi founded his business in the North West Italian town of Asti in 1891 after becoming fascinated by the art of pairing food and wine. He began producing quality aromatic infused wines with a great focus on the aperitivo. This led him to open several bars in the region using his recognisable surname, Cocchi (pronounced ‘Cocky’), as a mark of excellence.
