Baked rolls and marmalade open up into juicy Valencia orange notes. Orange opal fruits then follow more tangy yet silky orange notes. Super smooth kick with lashes of orange marmalade and smashed wheat with citrus zest on the finish. Dramatic vodka. Serious flavours on show here. Very well-made vodka.

Soft freshly picked autumnal pears with smashed apple and baked baked bread overtones on first taste. This is followed by crushed pear drops and sweet freshly pressed pear juice. The kicks are almost unnoticeable and wrapped in soft lemon peel, apple juice and pear juice. The finish is long, smooth and full of juicy pear and apple notes that leave you wanting more. The golden colour of the aged rum is removed via charcoal filtration, which also gives the rum its creamy texture.

Spiced green island rum is a wonderful addition to your rum collection. The fact that Mauritius lies on the original spice route ensures that some of the finest spices are available to the green island in preparing their rums. Gran Centenario Anejo spends 18 months maturing in American oak barrels and despite a light flavour, you’ll definitely be able to pick out those toasty wood notes. wonderfully enjoyed over ice or as a shooter, Gran Centenario Anejo allows the taste of cooked agave to take centre stage. An earthy depth and cinnamon spice add to the character of this tequila and the flavour builds to a hot, spicy end which is intensely satisfying.

The happy black seal performing on the front of each bottle is not where this rum got its name, but it’s a fun addition. Gosling’s black seal is named for the wax used to seal the stopper in place in fact and this is a deep, dark rum which stewed fruit aromas emanating from first opening.
