Metaxa Five Star Brandy, 70cl

A greek brandy which needs no introduction really, but we’ll give you one anyway! Metaxa 5 stars are the result of a secret recipe developed in 1888 blending together plump Attica grapes and sweet grape spirits. Metaxa 5stars has a flavour which is more raisin heavy than fruit and it has a light woody taste which works wonderfully with the mellow balance of grapes and spirits. The smoothness of Metaxa 5 stars ensures it’s wonderful when drunk neat or splashed over ice.

Martell XO Brandy, 70cl

Hennessy xo was created by Maurice Hennessy himself in 1870 and was initially reserved for the maker and his friends only, a mark of its excellence. Rich and robust, Hennessy XO has a deeper amber colour than your regular cognac, due to its long maturation process and the hand-selected barrels used during this. Around 100 Eaux de vide work together to create the rounded, bold flavour which is characterised by rich black pepper, a touch of spice and dry and candied fruit.

Calvados Père Magloire VSOP Brandy, 70cl

Père Magloire 12-year-old AOC is a single distillation calvados which is fine and silky on the palate. Its deep golden brown colour is attributed to a minimum of 12 years maturation in oak barrels and this also adds a distinct addition to the flavour profile of the bottle. Fresh hazelnut marries with fruity banana and natural spices all coming together with the baked apple flavour which is typical of a quality calvados.

Somerset Cider Brandy 3yr, 70cl

A wonderfully blended and nurtured brandy, three barrels combines the traditional flavours we all know and love and adds a twist. Pernod Absinthe, 70cl

The original absinthe, Henri Louis Pernod founded the world’s first absinthe distillery and their modern product still uses many of the methods and ingredients of their original blend. Deceptively milder than its high proof alcohol content, Pernod absinthe is understated and smooth to drink with the notes of aniseed and wormwood present but not overwhelming. Light green in colour has natural herbal aromas and a distinctive touch of lemon, best enjoyed with water and sugar.

La Fee Absinthe Parisienne, 70cl

The drink which sparked a new revolution, la fee absinthe Parisienne was one of the first absinthes newly licensed when the drink was once again made legal. Distilled in Paris utilising a 19th-century recipe, la fee Parisienne is exclusively authenticated by Marie-Claude Delahaye, founder and curator of the absinthe museum. With classic green hues and the flavours of traditional wormwood, fennel anise and hyssop it has both a herbal aroma and sharp aniseed flavour.
