Heaven hill 4 years is bottled using famous Kentucky limestone water and this leads to a mellow and smooth character which allows the flavours of the bourbon to come through powerfully. Using the same recipe since 1788 heaven hill is sweet with vanilla and oak but spiced with warm rye notes and a long finish rich in caramel. The strength of the spice is satisfying without being overwhelming and there’s a mineral quality to this bourbon which makes it a wonderful choice for sipping neat.
