Fresh, fruity and smooth-bodied, Caol Ila 12 year old is the colour of pale straw, with a delicate balance of tastes. Clean on the nose, it shows subtle citrus fruit with just a puff of smoke. Firm and smooth, it begins sweetly then yields a fragrant smokiness and a sweet-smoky, lingering finish. This single malt was named Outstanding Silver Medal Winner at the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2015.
Nose: Sweet fruit and Oloroso sherry notes, layered with honey and vanilla. Taste: Smooth and mellow with beautifully combined flavours of nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness and a delicately proportioned layer of sherry. Finish: Long and warming.
THIS SMALL BATCH BOURBON, HAND-CRAFTED IN CHARRED OAK BARRELS, USES A THREE-GRAIN SPIRIT RECIPE THAT INFUSES SOUTHERN TRADITION WITH THE SPICINESS OF NORTHERN RYE AND A TOUCH OF MALT FOR SMOOTHNESS. VANILLA, CARAMEL AND CLOVES GIVE A RICH AND SPICY NOSE. THE PALATE HAS SWEET TOFFEE AND CARAMEL WITH CARDAMOM AND CLOVES. THE FINISH IS LONG AND WARMING WITH A LINGERING SPICE.
Colour: Rich golden. Nose: An elegant harmony of fresh green apple, William's pear and spring blossom. Complemented with aromatic hops and fresh herbs. Taste: Vibrant with a zesty citrus note followed by creamy vanilla and a hint of fresh hops. Finish: Enduring sweetness with an echo of green hops
Roe & Co starts on the nose in intricate layers, first vanilla and cream from our grain and underlying caramel and sticky toffee. Promises of good things to come. Then the flavour explodes into life; keen spice, ripe pear, cacao nib and unctuous vanilla all revel. The finish does not disappoint either: gentle heat, a spike of caramel and a lingering cadence of soft, orchard fruits all indicative of our malt backbone.
