A blend of existing grain and malt whiskies, including islay, further matured in new French oak to create a rich, full-bodied style of whisky with peaty notes.

Spiced green island rum is a wonderful addition to your rum collection. The fact that Mauritius lies on the original spice route ensures that some of the finest spices are available to the green island in preparing their rums. Opening with welcoming vanilla notes, mild lime and clove freshness, green island spiced then leads into a burst of hot ginger which builds on the palate and remains until the final hit. It is tempered by that mild lime flavour, ensuring it doesn’t overwhelm.

The golden colour of the aged rum is removed via charcoal filtration, which also gives the rum its creamy texture.

A fine champagne VSOP cognac from the Hine house. H by Hine is a stylish alternative to Remy VSOP with a bit more oomph, but still very mixable for classy cocktails.

The Hakushi distillery is hidden in the forests near the Japanese alps and this particular offering is aged for 12 years. An exceptional single malt, Hakushu 12 year is a light and refreshing offering with hay and mixed peels on the nose and gentle barley malt, smokiness and hazelnut coming through in the taste. Sweetness is perfectly balanced against spice.

A blended whisky from the Kaikyo Distillery, the Hatozaki blend sees the marriage of both malt and grain whiskies, including whisky distilled in Japan and imported stocks. The whisky is named after the Hatozaki lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in Japan. The liquid is aged in many different cask types, including sherry, bourbon and Mizunara oak, imparting a complex flavour profile.

The leader of the Havana club pack, this young and bright rum is the most recognisable of all their products and despite its light hues, it has all the flavour of a quality golden rum. Faintly herbal notes are the first indicator that the bottle is open and they’re swiftly followed by fudge and then a welcome floral scent. A young Havana club offering, this 7-year-old Cuban rum gets its amber hues from the bourbon casks it’s matured in. The aroma is reminiscent of first thing in the morning, rich in roasted coffee with vanilla and gingerbread coming through too. Vanilla fudge is the prominent flavour when you take a sip and it’s soon paired with sweet dairy chocolate, fruit trifle and woody oak notes. Havana club selección de maestros is a uniquely created triple barrel-aged rum which has a distinctive red glow. Toasted pecans and deep spices fill the nose and this woody character continues in the mouthfeel. Hayman’s London dry was launched in 2008 and is the brand’s shot at the classic dry gin style. Ten botanicals are used, as with all Hayman's gins, and strong notes of crystallised lemon and orange peel paired with lavender are the first scents you’ll smell. dry orris root is the first flavour you’ll taste alongside pine and juniper as well as zesty lime. The aftertaste is bitter with the juniper still lingering.
