Ketel One Citron Vodka, 70cl

Lemons from the fridge and buttery croissant notes on the entry. This is followed by lemon meringue and lemon barley water with hot toast. The kicks is chalky,( in a lemon barley way) but with a touch of aggression. The finish is full of bitter lemon notes.

Absolut Mandarin Vodka, 70cl

Soft yet punchy orange and mandarin notes sing out first followed by singed lemon and orange zest. The finish here is sweet, sharp and bursting with orange citrus goodness. Yum when served from freezer.

Stolichnaya Vanilla Vodka, 70cl

Baked vanilla and lemon cake give way to sweet waves of lemonade and cornish ice cream. A lemon undertone remains a constant and saves it from being overly sweet. The kicks is pretty silky and the finish is full of cloudy lemonade and crème anglaise. Yum!

Stolichnaya Razberi Vodka, 70cl

Sweet layers of tart raspberry move into chalky yet sweet notes of raspberry lemonade. The kicks is tart and zingy and are rescued by a big raspberry and blueberry finish. Mouthfeel is semi-full.

Zubrowka Vodka, 70cl

Excellent and original grass and herb driven vodka. Opens up with freshly mowed grass and green apple notes. These move through into deep yet balanced and complexed herbal notes followed by waves of hay and green apple. The finish is grassy, clean and almost refreshing with a soft lime and herb bite that fades into apples. Best served from the fridge and tastes fantastic with freshly pressed apple juice.

Finlandia cranberry is uniquely smooth, with a delicious flavour and aroma of fresh cranberries.

Absolut Kurrant Vodka, 70cl

Ribena on crack! This one really hits out with a twisted blackcurrant bitter tang at first taste. This moves into a sharp spiked Ribena taste before easing off and showing lemon and soft fruit notes. The finish is tangy and sharp. This is the perfect sort of vodka for mixing fruity cocktails. Serve from the freezer.

Absolut Citron Vodka, 70cl

Easy drinking lemon vodka. Big glassy notes of sharp lemon and lime followed by crushed lemon barley sweets and a soft lemon curd finish with a tangy citrus finish. Made for the cosmopolitan. Great stuff.

Ciroc Pineapple Vodka, 70cl

The fifth flavoured vodka to be introduced to the Cîroc range, this combines the grape-based spirit with pineapple flavours.

Stolichnaya Salted Karamel Vodka, 70cl

Melted caramel and peanuts upon entry followed by waves of sweet chocolate. Caramel takes over the mid palette and moves into peanut brittle and palm sugar notes. The kick is super smooth and the finish is a mixture of snickers and hard candy with a faint lick of rock salt. Yum, stuff!

Ciroc Red Berry Vodka, 70cl

Sweet summer berries squished into grape juice flavours. Layers of strawberry, raspberry and recurrent. Tartness followed by a silky and sweet finish. The kick is smooth and gives a mouthful of fat berries to finish. Classy moves from the Ciroc boys. Keep this one in the fridge for best results.

Tannic mango and apple notes at the kick-off. Lemon and overripe mango follow this with undercurrents of soft tropical fruits. There is sharpness midway that throws you a bit until the sweet lemon and mango finish with a sharp passion fruit flavour ties it all in at the end. Great with um bongo! Seriously! Try it. Serve from the freezer.

Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka, 70cl

Custard and jam roly-poly flavours at first followed by waves of vanilla and lemon zest. Baked sponge and custard coats the kick and the finish is short but full of vanilla beans and lemon lollypops.

Stolichnaya Citrus Vodka, 70cl

Sweet waves of lemon sherbert followed by zingy lemon cake and rock salt. Sweet kick of lemon rind and caster sugar followed by a short lemon squash finish.

Smirnoff Apple Vodka, 70cl

Tart apple and sweet cereal notes followed by granny smith and baked bread flavours. The kicks are sharp and followed by bright lemon and green apple flavours.

Absolut Pear Vodka, 70cl

An excellent pear vodka that opens up with lemon zest and autumnal fruits. The pear takes over soon after and follows all the way through to the bittersweet finale. A great vodka that opens up myriad cocktail flavour opportunities. Serve frozen and over ice to get the best out of it.

Thunder Toffee Vodka, 70cl

Mega toffee hit slaps you round the face at first followed by warm fudge and toffee apple notes. The kicks is faint but the boost of chewy toffee is full-on. Quality street type mouth finish. Serve from the fridge for best results. Begs for cold apple juice.

Grey Goose La Poire Vodka, 70cl

Soft freshly picked autumnal pears with smashed apple and baked baked bread overtones on first taste. This is followed by crushed pear drops and sweet freshly pressed pear juice. The kicks are almost unnoticeable and wrapped in soft lemon peel, apple juice and pear juice. The finish is long, smooth and full of juicy pear and apple notes that leave you wanting more. Ten out of ten for the grey goose team. Exceptional stuff.

Finlandia Grapefruit Vodka, 70cl

Sharp white grapefruit is prominent followed by a wash of sweetened pink grapefruit. Lemon and lime zest appear mid appear just before a sweet grapefruit kick that is smooth and long. Impressive follow up of pink grapefruit and morello cherry with a big citrus burst to finish. Cracking stuff. Serve from the freezer. Amazing value for money.

Lanique Rose Petal Vodka, 70cl

Thick rose and lemon notes on the opening followed closely by delicate Turkish delight and faint Arabian spice. The finish is thick and full with heaps of rose and strawberry on the finish with a sweet yet comfortably strong bite. Cracking for cocktails and begs for champagne. Serve from the fridge to get the very best from this one.

Skyy Passion Vodka, 70cl

Lemon and strawberry slush puppies flavours on first taste followed by waves of Umbongo and African passion fruit flavours. The kick is tart and wrapped in more lemon slush puppies and passion fruit. The finish is short, sweet and to the point.

Punt e Mes, 75cl

Point and a half to the Italians! stewed summer fruits with vanilla pods and manuka honey and burnt lemons. Fat plum and bitter raspberry finish with a slightly tannic feel. Crying out for gin and sweet vermouth!

Noilly Prat, 75cl

The daddy of dry vermouths. Fino sherry style dryness with cloves and cardamom followed by squishy white supermarket grapes. The finish retains the spiciness with dry floral notes of bitter pear and apple.

Martini Rosso, 75cl

Manhattan standard issue! Big bittersweet stewed stone fruit notes with zesty orange and manuka honey flavours. This flows into a big bittersweet orange and squished hot plum and sloeberrry finish.

Belsazar White Vermouth, 75cl
