Crafted at Loch Lomond distillery, our multi award-winning whisky is distilled in a continuous Coffey still using 100% malted barley. This allows us to create a lighter style of spirit, without compromising on quality, which is then matured in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in a combination of infrared & fire toasted virgin American oak barrels. The use of infrared toasting is a first in the Scotch whisky world and allows intricate flavours to be extracted that make our whisky sweeter, with similar tasting notes to bourbon. Our unique flavour profile: Aroma: Floral, dark berries, vanilla, and dark chocolate Palate: Velvety sweet with red apple, lime zest, vanilla fudge Finish: Long sweet and smooth finish Spearhead is a totally unique Scotch whisky and when it comes to mixing our spirit, it compliments flavours found in stirred down and brown cocktails as well as lighter spritz style serve.
