Tasting Note The forerunner and kissing cousin to Bourbon, American Straight Corn Whiskey is defined by the US Government as having a recipe or mash bill with a minimum of 81% corn, the rest being malted barley and rye.

Mellow Corn is a fine example of corn whisky which allows its mashbill to be 90% corn with rye and barley making up the remainder. At least four years spent in oak maturing helps ensure the wonderful corn-bright flavour. The nose is bright and refreshing with vanilla, banana, sweetcorn an honey coming through alongside a little ginger spice which leads into a flavour in the same style. The corn grain depth helps give Mellow Corn a rustic feel which is highly enjoyable.
