To create its distinctive flavour specially selected port pipes from the Portuguese Douro valley are used. The nose is rich in winter fragrances, fresh berries and the warmth of a good port. Strong oak and chewy cereal notes also come through leading to a sweet, thick mouthfeel and a palate full of bright port notes, barley sugar and juicy fresh fruit. It is one of the sweeter offerings on the market but there are noticeable hits of spice.
