A privately maintained recipe which dates back to the 18th century, fifty pounds bears all the hallmarks of a quality gin, with traditional flavours. Distilled four times to deliver its smooth flavour, the botanicals are steeped for two days and then distilled slowly in a century-old still. English through and through and from a very small batch, fifty pounds is rare and has strong notes of citrus, coriander and liquorice.
