Pinot grigio grapes have rather dark skins and they are left in contact with the fermenting juice for just the right amount of time to give this delicate rosé wine its pink colour. with a fragrant nose of flowers and fresh fruit, soft and ripe on the palate, with delicate hints of raspberries this is a very easy wine to drink.
It once accounted for 40% of Portugal’s exported table wine and was one of the world’s most popular wines in the 70’s. Drier than it was with a touch more fizz, fresh and surprisingly well balanced with notes of rosehip.
Pale pink. intense aromas of raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant with a hint of pepper. rich palette with refreshing bright red fruit and peppery character. apparently dry, with attractive fruit-sweetness.
Pale salmon colour with a bright hue. Fine nose, some flinty/stony notes with fresh red currant, herbal notes, ripe citrus and aniseed. Medium weight, young pure and crisp with good grip and fine extract, elegant fruit and long persistence.
Beautiful light ruby colour. Very nice nose with small red fruits: raspberry, strawberry, redcurrant. Very lively in the mouth. Powerful red fruit aromas, echoing the expressions perceived on the nose. A really pleasant and enjoyable wine.
